Solar energy is a growing market. Sources indicate that solar energy has already begun to challenge conventional non-renewable energy sources.

Recurring trends show that it is not a fad but the most viable energy option.

If you are still not sure about producing your own electricity from PV panels, it could be a good idea to check the five reasons below.

Reason 1. Installing solar panels for home use is a green take on residential energy consumption.

The thing that burns never returns. Renewable energy solutions, on the other hand, are sustainable. In other words, investing in renewable energy sources, you don’t only care for today but also consider the future for your children.

Utilizing solar panels for heat and electricity produce very little pollution. Photovoltaic panels don’t emit harmful carbon gasses to the atmosphere. Installing solar panels for your home also cleans your carbon footprint.

Reason 2. Solar power is a cheap energy solution for your home.

Maybe you think that green is more expensive, that’s why most people shy away from the installation costs.  But when it comes to PV panels, the costs have dramatically decreased in the past few years and have gained a competitive advantage over fossil fuels.

Energy prices have doubled in the last 6 years. You can get Tax free and indexed linked payments of 41.3 pence per unit of electricity you generate. Plus 03 pence per unit that you don’t use by exporting it back to the grid.

Instant financial rewards with 10% gross return on your investment per year for 25 years.

Reason 3. Residential PV panels are very low on maintenance.

The solar energy systems require very little maintenance.

Reason  4. Residential solar panels provide you with the convenience of storage.

You cannot store conventional power from your grid to use when the power cuts off. A revolutionary advantage that solar power brings about is the convenience of storing power for future use. What this means is that you can use solar power in the middle of the night or in cloudy days, as you do when the sun shines. No more power outage!

Reason  5. The solar system you installed for your house is multi functional. You will not notice the difference between grid or solar energy.

According to developer Maxen Homes, long term rentals are the order of the day at St George’s Court. Finished this year by main contractor Bridge, Maxen decided to rent all the highly finished units for the time being. Maxen say that the trend appears to be towards long term rental contracts with most renters looking for a year at least. All the apartments at St Georges are well proportioned and include luxury fitted kitchens, quality bathrooms and fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms. Hard wood flooring runs throughout the hallways, kitchens and living areas. Kitchens feature integrated Bosch appliances. Bathrooms have walk-in showers and chrome fittings. Living areas have pre-wired home entertainment and communications points for telephone/tv/fm with digital and sky facility. Despite the high quality finish of the property, it’s rental success is also largely down to it’s proximity to transport links (20 yards from Wimbledon Chase BR with frequent trains into London in 29 minutes) and to Wimbledon Village.
